Intergovernmental Matters and Public Administration
The Intergovernmental Matters and Public Administration Workgroup is responsible for coordinating departmental projects relating to local government finances, State aid to local governments, the delivery of public services at the local level, demographic indicators, and governmental procedures such as elections and ethics. These projects involve financial reporting, data collection and analysis, special research projects, and State aid briefing reports and database maintenance. In addition, the workgroup assists other functions within the department with data needs and informational requests concerning local governments in Maryland.
