Information Technology

Information Technology (IT) is the primary technology support group for DLS and MGA. The services of IT include design, development, maintenance, and support of custom legislative systems such as legislative bill drafting, bill status, and chamber automation. In addition, most members of the General Assembly have personal and laptop computers supplied and supported by IT with an integrated legislative office computing package. IT has dedicated user support and training activities and a core team that develops and supports DLS and MGA applications. IT maintains a Project Management practice for all systems‑related projects. IT also supports telecommunications services and full audio and video streaming for public consumption. In addition, IT also provides Information Security protection in line with the NIST cybersecurity framework.
