The Library and Information Services unit provides reference and research assistance to members of the General Assembly, their staff, and the public. We also conduct guided tours and educational programs for visiting groups from schools and other organizations. The DLS Library collection of over 140,000 items ranges from journals of floor proceedings to committee bill files and recordings of committee meetings. We also have an extensive collection of reports and other publications generated by DLS and other State agencies.
Note: The Department of Legislative Services Library has been packed up and we've moved to temporary quarters. We don't have a physical library to welcome visitors as we had in the past, but we are still here to help you via phone and e-mail. We look forward to welcoming you to a new library in the future once the new Department of Legislative Services building is complete.
If you need information or reference assistance, please e-mail at email@example.com or call at 410-946-5400, monitored during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
