The Library and Information Services unit provides reference and research assistance to members of the General Assembly, their staff, and the public. We also conduct guided tours and educational programs for visiting groups from schools and other organizations. The DLS Library collection of over 140,000 items ranges from journals of floor proceedings to committee bill files and recordings of committee meetings. We also have an extensive collection of reports and other publications generated by DLS and other State agencies.
Note: The Department of Legislative Services Library is currently being packed up in advance of a move from the Department of Legislative Services building. The physical library isn’t currently open to visitors due to current conditions, but we are still here to help you via phone and e-mail. We look forward to welcoming you to a new library in the future!
If you need information or reference assistance, please e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at 410-946-5400, monitored during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
